    Good morning ,I thought I would just let you know of a programme that is on I.T.V
    this evening is all about our Bees population etc:)

            Yes, thanks. Just watched it and one part in particular made me shudder! Did you see the Natural BeeKeepers bit? Where they were basically shovelling bees with their bare hands? :runforhills:

            But earlier today I was sitting under an overhanging Damson tree, sadly no damsons forming for the second year, when I spotted a single bee on a bush. I couldn't believe what I was seeing and watched it land on the leaf, then move around the leaf, doing what turned out to be the bee cutting a section of the leaf out, larger than the bee itself, before flying off.

            I'm guessing it was a Leaf Cutter Bee.
