    Hi, I'm new.

I have a plant growing in my garden, which behaves like an ivy. It creeps along the ground sending down roots and sending up shoots which produce blue flowers with white insets, very similar to a clematis flower.

It has deep green leaves, and is very strong.

The amazing thing is that it flowers all year long, no matter the weather.

Cany anyone tell me what it could be.

    Frankie.

    P.S.

My first snowdrops appeared on 17th January and the Aconite two days later, although not a many as lat year, although they may yet appear.

    [IMG] Hi ya frankie,
That sounds like Vinka or other name Periwinkle. It can be kept trimmed back & it will form clumps or it will rassle everywhere. Keep the runners trimmed so that they can't root & don't be afraid to be very ruthless with it. In my experience it is a very tough plant & quite hard to kill completely unless you want to that is..... :D

    Thank you Marley Farley.

I'm new to the computer and an amateur at gardening, so I'm grateful for your advice.

My first crocus bloomed this morning.

    Frankie.

    Hi Frankie

I agree with Marley farley it does sound like periwinkle. It also grows with a variagated leaf. It can be useful but be careful it is very invasive. I've also noticed my first snowdrop today!! It give you a real lift and you just know spring is around the corner!
    Good Luck

I haven't a clue, but I'd like to say that I could read your plant descriptions all day.

    Any more?
