    A friend took a photo of this plant which wasn't actually growing in anyone's
    garden but in a car park I think so obviously growing wild. She was quite taken with it so it would be interesting to know if anyone can name it. The photos are a little blurred sorry. ID.jpg ID2.jpg ID2.jpg

      My pleasure @Fran IOM …, I’m usually not that great on shrubs, but that’s one of my favourites. :)

        And have spotted in garden centres this year a lot more ornamental prunus alongside it with different colour and size flowers while keeping the interesting structure of Kojo-no-mai like Oshidori which hadn't seen in the flesh that many times previously.
