Thanks again for all of your help - the last few I'd love to know are below.

1 is growing 20ft plus up the wall
2 is a bush about 4-5 ft high but wants to go higher
3 grows high and wide in strands

    regards
    Gavin.

    1) Looks like Winter Flowering Jasmine
    2) Recognise it but not the name!
    3) Looks like Clematis, a Montana

Don't think (3) is a montana. It looks like one of the evergreen forms.

I can't think of the name of (2) either! I usually think of it as 'low-maintenance municipal space filler'.

    1. Agree with Sussexgardener.
Jasminum nudiflorum. Common name Winter flowering jasmine.

    2. Possibly Senecio. Pics of the flowers would help with id.

    3. Is another duplicate plant from previous batches. Quiz 2. 1st pic.

The leaves do appear to be in 3s to a stem. So Clematis... but which one???? Wait until there are flowers , then add pics to this post.

2 may be Brachyglottis compactus (formerly Senecio)

    Thank you Boghopper.

Er no. monroi is very popular.

    It's Brachyglottis, too, not Senecio.

That said, I'm not sure it is monroi.
