I don’t know what it is about me, but when people decide to fly across the Pond, (Or channel) I seem to be high on the list of People to Dump Plants On...

We have a stunning lemon tree, and the infamous Kilmarnock willow, that founded a herb bed, from one such migration, and a new friend has found me to give her houseplants to, prior to the big hop back to the USA.

Yesterday I acquired a Rhipsalis cassutha, various parlour palms (the diddy ones) and a big palm (standard Ikea Big HousePlant dept), Peperomias of various types, an African violet, plus various succulents. today I have been going through the boxes of plants, working out what’s worth keeping, what should be consigned to the compost. Watch this thread for a succession of “what should I do with this...?” posts!
