    Can anyone identify this plant which has appeared in my garden? i don't know how it got there.

    The leaves look like butterbur but the flowers don't.

    Siberian bugloss, Brunnera macrophylla. White-flowered form, possibly a named cultivar (there are several white ones).

      Thank you! I have white-leaved Brunnera with blue flowers, so it should have given me a clue. I guess that it might have arrived with another completely different plant which I planted in the same place but which did not survive the winter.
