Hi all, can anyone identify this plant for me please? I found some unknown seeds in my granda's shed; they were small, brown and spherical, looked a bit like small sweet pea seeds?? And this is what sprouted, apologies for the poor quality photo I was in a rush and just holding the pot up in the greenhouse! Will get a better photo shortly. It has tendrils and appears to be growing upwards rather than over the pot sides. If anyone can tell me what this is I'd be very grateful, it's taking off and looking very healthy now so if I know what it is, I know where to put it in the garden

    Thanks all :)

It looks rather like one of the Vetches (Vicia). Vicia is a large genus that is a member of the Pea (Fabacaea) family, so it is hard to be specific as far as the exact species. Although it is of the pea family, I'm fairly sure that it is toxic to humans.

I like them, although they can get a little leggy and mildly invasive.
