Do you know by chance what plant that could be? I’m currently in Berlin and my dad likes this very much. Pictures are taken with a phone, sorry for the quality.
    Thanks in advance.

Hi Simone, it's Salvia sclarea var. turkestanica. Comes in pink/violet or white....

      Thank you so much, @noisette47
My dad lives now in a care home and they have a little garden. I will look to get that plant in my garden which will connect us symbolically :)

It tends only to be a biennial here.

A short-lived perennial here, but it self-seeds generously, so there are always plants coming on :)Did you get a whiff of the aroma @simone_in_wiltshire ? Some people love it, others can't stand it, but it's quite remarkable.

I will check the smell today when I see him before heading home, @noisette47
I don’t think any plant that is described as happy self-seeder has got a chance to grow in my garden with me around. I’m addicted to weeding :)
