Planting fruit trees

    I have just bought a cherry tree, can anyone tell me when I can plant it in the garden, was going to do it this weekend but the ground was very frosty and didn't want to kill it off!

    As long as the ground isn`t frozen or waterlogged then you can plant. If there is a bit of frost on the ground but the soil itself is not frozen then I would plant it.

    Thanks, it is snowing today and very thick frost, will wait till weekend and try then!
