Planting Garlic - Spring

    I am going to be planting a few varieties of Spring Garlic
    See different methods
    Several books say bury so tip is 2" below ground
    Others say plant with tip protruding (like Onion sets)

    Which is best ?

    I bury slightly, personally I don't think it makes a lot of difference.
    I slightly bury onion sets as well

      My garlic goes in about 2-3 in down in November.

        I prefer autumn planting as well, but did once get a decent amount by spring planting.
