Planting under a yew tree

    Good afternoon,
    I have quite a large yew, approx 15m span, in one corner of the garden. Having just put a new fence up under about half the branch span I now have a bare south facing earth border. Does anyone know of any types of plants or small shrubs that will survive under the yew branches and provide ground cover?
