This is a free lecture in the series from the Lakeland Horticultural Society if any of you are in the area.

The next lecture in the winter series will take place on 29 March 2025, 2pm

Marchesi Centre, Holly Road, off Ellerthwaite Road, Windermere, LA23 2AF

The speaker will be Dr Andrew Ward

Dr Andrew Ward is the owner of Norwell Nursery which has more than 20 beds filled with nothing but sharp sand. Plants grown include over 30 different echinaceas, plus hundreds of North American, Mediterranean and alpine plants thriving on an austere diet. Among many others, these include salvias, nepeta, gaura, bulbs, grasses and coreopsis.
