    Hi,

I new to the forum and I hope someone can help me, I'm having lots of problems this year with plants in my green house dying, all these are being grown in raised beds in the greenhouse, it starts on the leaves and over a few days spreads and then kills the plants please see photos below, the plants it is affecting are, Radish, Pak Choi, Nasturtium, Cabbage, Black Current, Spicy Slade Mix, also some young Black Current plants & Tomato plants but these last two I not sure if it is the same problem.

I have many other plants in the green house that look okay, such as lettuce, celery, beetroot, onion, chard. I have checked that they are not over or under watered, and all the plants are on a 3 year bed rotation, I have added grow more to the beds once the plants are large enough.

It could be water splashes on the leaves then the sun has burnt them. Also the Pak Choi look very close together, so the hunidity will be very high - that might cause damping off (which is a fungal disease).

I go along with the high humidity theory.

Maybe a bit more ventilation is in order.

I've never heard of blackcurrents in a greenhouse or nasturtium but I'm sure with full ventilation they should be OK.

What's the temperature in the greenhouse Touchwood ?
I think those plants have just fried.
Pak Choi certainly doesn't want to be in a greenhouse - it likes cool, damp conditions. It does well outdoors spring and late autumn - hopeless in high summer. I grew some over the winter in a cold frame and it got on fine.

    Hi All,

Thank you for the replys, although the pak choi is close many of the other plants had ample room and some are in individual pots but still had the same problem, the green house is very well ventilated.

The strange thing is it is only affecting the list of plants in my first post, so some of the problem plants have plants next to them growing with no problem, so it does not seem to be water splashes.

The blackcurrents are new plants that are just being propogated before going into garden, because we are in the highlands of Scotland we grow all our salade in the the greenhouse at the start and end of the seasonthe nasturtium is used for salad.

We do have shading in the greenhouse.

I have grown all the problem plants for several years with no problem like this year, I do grow outside as well but not till June.

    Thanks
    Touchwood
