    Hi All,
this is my first posting, I've just found this useful site :)
Is there anywhere I can buy the fixings for joining the tubes on a plastic/polypropalene greenhouse. Ours collapsed under the weight of snow. What I'm looking for is the plastic angle joiners that the tubes fit into. Most suppliers only sell the complete greenhouse.

    Thanks.

    Mark.

Sounds to me like you'll need to ask the retailer for the manufacturers details...and contact them directly. One thing you could try is if you still have the original assembly intructions...then the part you need may have a part number which you could google search. Alternatively look in the small print of the assembly instructions for the manufacturers details...then google search those.

    Good luck!

    Steve...:)

    Hi,
we've had it a few years, and can't find the instructions. It came from Argos, so you can imagine how helpful they were. Not.

Hi markpb and welcome to the forums!

We had exactly the same problem with the snow. Many of the critical top plastic fixings had become brittle (most likely in the sun and heat from summer) and snapped under the weight of over a foot of snow.

Not that it will be much help to you, but we threw ours out and decided to go for a more expensive greenhouse. With all the left over metal poles and remaining salvegable plastic angle joints, we managed to make a fairly decent sized staging for one side of our new greenhouse. We did use a hacksaw to cut the poles to adequate size, but so far its been working a treat. We also used the metal 'grid' pieces as a surface for our seed trays and pots.

So If you are struggling to find the required parts, you could always buy another platic greenhouse when one is on offer, and use the leftover parts from your last one to create additional growing platforms. You could even incorperate the old pieces into the new greenhouse to make a more stable structure

p.s. we got our hacksaw from the poundshop to make our staging :heehee:

    good luck!
