In relation to my last thread here I bought an Abelia - Kaleidoscope last year. Despite the supposed changing of colours, it remained greeny/yellow in colour.

I bought two new plants yesterday to go next to it. One is a Goldan Mexican Orange Blossom (Choisya temata Sundance) which is very yellowy.
The second plant is the same type but a green version and it's very green and doesn't show any signs of being yellow.

I don't know what order to plant them! I'm stuck with the yellowy Abelia, now shall I go yellow yellow green or yellow green yellow?
The yellows are very similar, but the leaves are very different so I'd like to make it obvious from a distance the two yellow are different plants but on the other hand I think the two yellows and then the green kinda works better.

It's one thing buying these plants, but it's an entirely different matter when it comes to designing with them.

    What would you do?
