Pleasant surprises in the garden

    Just been having a quick tidy up and taking a few cuttings prior to moving house and came across this, my first acer seedling; it must have dropped down into the fairly tired looking pot of gooseberry :)

    Just wondered if anyone else gets nice surprises from time to time with zero effort?!

      Very rarely - most of my surprises are of the form 'Oh, that plant has died too'. But that acer looks as though it is a good colour too!
