    Hi,

Just been out in my garden today documenting some of the pests I am encountering.
The main problem is something making lots of tiny holes in the leaves of particular plants (see pic 1), namely:
    Turnips
    Radishes
    Japanese spinach
    Certain salads e.g. rocket

I think I have found the bug responsible (pic 2), any idea what it is and how to combat it?

Also, something keeps digging in my small plot in the ground and earthing up seedlings. It has left some evidence of its presence (pic 3), any idea what might be doing this?

Finally, my pumpkin plants have lots of black flies all over them (pic 4).

    I would appreciate any advice!

    Thanks!

Well it's a weevil of some sort! Though normally I find it's flea beetle that makes those sort of holes.

The first pest looks very much like Vine Weevil, kill on sight. The second, I think could be caused by mice and the third is Blackfly.:dbgrtmb:

Thanks guys. The wine weevils have really wrecked some of my plants. Seems like there is a lot of them hiding in the stems. So is killing them by hand the best way to deal with them? I could have a job on my hands! I am scared to plant more plants incase they spread further!
