Please help me identify these ...

    Looks a bit cabbage like.

    Could it be the dreaded oil seed rape plant.

    I guess I won;t be able to grow enough to make my own fuel .. so is it a particulalrly keen weed if it is the oil seed rape plant? I already have a lot of work fending off the tangle weed :-S

    I think canola is a much nicer way of putting it.:D

    Read back through some threads ... all signs of such plant are gone from my garden.

    It looks to be one of the brassica familt to me Timmy I think pete may have nailed it [again].

    I don't quite know what it is, (as said, brassica seems most likely) but I would guess that you, or your next door neighbour has a bird-feeder in the garden...the birds tend to chuck out the seed they don't care for much in order to get at the succulent treats and you often end up with "weeds" like this growing close to the feeder!
