Hi - I am new to the forum, and would like some help in identifying a tree in our garden. It has been hidden for many years behind a tree which has just been removed, so it has grown very tall and has spindly branches. It has green waxy leaves and small green 'fruit'. The tree is about 12 feet tall.

    Thank you,

    Alison

Hi. Thanks for the reply but its not a bay laurel. The leaves are different but I appreciate the help. Any other ideas ?

The leaves on mine are a little rubbery and shiny.

It looks like a Ficus, ("Rubber Plant"), that has been planted outside instead of being kept as a pot plant, and has grown big. Is that possible?
