    Please Help!!:help:

Hello!! I'm quite new to gardening. I thought I would grow Squashes. I have done exactly what it says on seed packet, but then I read that you should sow the seed on its side. I didn't do that because seed packet didn't say!! Will they still grow???

    Hope you can help
    :D

Most of the 'flat' seeds are supposed to be sown on their sides, but I'd not worry too much. You've still got time to sow some more if they haven't germinated in a couple of weeks.
Squash plants grow like triffids, so unless you've got a LOT of space two or three plants will be all you'll need.
