please id this purple pink plant

mum thinks it is some kind of cactus.
i'm totally clueless.
anyone here know what it is?

I think it's a sedum but I'm not familiar with them. Someone will be along soon who will know though,

Sedum spurium Coccineum?

 

Looks like something I had here years ago although the petals are slightly different ... and I think it was a Sedum coccineum so I agree with Madahhlia. Had it for several years outside and then I either neglected it or it decided to go to plant heaven but I've never found it again since.
