      They can be a blessing or a curse depending on how much you like them.

      They are somewhat like dandelions - perennial, have yellow petals and incredibly annoying taproots that easily snap off and regerate new plants. Not quite as hardy or vigorous as dandelions but can still be a pain in the proverbials if they end up all over borders.
