The day my sister, Kedi-Gato died, we had a visitor.

Sis had Siamese for 30-odd years ... first Sammy Cheng, then the 'twins' who were just brothers Tonto and Mingo and then she introduced Gato from Portugal when the 'twins' were about 12.

Well, as some of you know, Sis sadly died on 17 May after a battle with cancer, but it was peaceful thankfully.

As I mentioned, the day she died we had a visitor ... and we live in the middle of nowhere ... so let me introduce Hoover van Dyson ...

We are not sure what to do with him at the moment .... but he won't leave us ....

Oh Yvonne, firstly thank you for your kind comment and secondly I am on a new computer using a new system and half of what I wrote went into the ethernet.

Sis went to Turkey for 12-13 years and planned to buy there and loved the Van cats ... well, any cats like me! And then this one arrived suddenly and I called him Van Bandit thinking Sis had sent him to me (because of his face mask). Suddenly he was eating like a cat I've never seen before (and they have owned us for 46 years) as t'other half said a Hoover and I said a Dyson and so his name was changed ....

... and he's the biggest chatterbox I've ever heard ... what is he saying ... :cat-kittyandsmiley:

            Oh he's a keeper :cat-kittyandsmiley: handsome fellow!!

Lurve his name - before I read your explanation, I assumed it was a subtle way of saying how he has been sent by your sis to fill the vacuum she has left  And I thought: how perfect!!

What to do with him? Well, in my experience of cats ... whatever he wants: of course :heehee:

Looking forward to more pictures of Hoover van Dyson when you get the chance
