    Dear Participant,

We are a graduate student team from the university of Birmingham, majoring in strategic marketing and consulting. We are working on a field marketing consulting project on wood garden products. Now we are trying to collect primary data. We have received permission and approval from the administrator, ARMANDII.

We thank you for agreeing to take part in this important survey measuring awareness and attitudes towards timber garden products. This survey should only take 5 minutes to complete

NOTE: I have had to remove the link to the survey as the UOB cannot remove the commercial links in the survey which they previously assured me would not be there. So my apologies to those who wished to take part in the survey but the Admin Team has a responsibility to prevent direct or indirect Spam.

Unfortunately, the questionnaire is a link but there are some requirements that I have not meet. It would be very helpful if someone could please give me a like, which is one of the minimum requirements to create a link. I would be very appreciated! Thank you!

"On this programme our students have undertaken live consultancy projects with a range of top companies – for example, Cadbury, Hobbs, Honeywell, Land Rover/Jaguar, Cogent Elliot, TRW, Helix and Aston Villa Football Club."
Which company is sponsoring this research?

That "M" is what we have left the GC Gang to decide i.e: giving their approval to the Survey by giving a "Like"....or not.:dunno::snorky: The only other thing I have placed as a condition is that there should be no commercialisation/spamming either direct or indirect in the Questionnaire. If there is a link in there leading to the Sponsoring Firm that, to me, is spam and I will ban the questionnaire.:coffee::snorky:

Well, I'm not sure it really matters, Vince. We have, as you know, many intelligent and experienced, including your good self, people on GC and none of us get our spelling or grammar right. There is also another aspect to consider and that is if there are foreign students involved who's proficiency in the English language is still forming...........besides, University have never made the perfect person yet!! My only red line is that there is no direct or indirect commercialisation in this thread or in the Questionnaire.

Not everyone who posts is strong on grammar,

"I mean, how many know that a preposition is something you should never end a sentence with?"

I've long said that message boards, are designed to add a typo, a grammatical, or spelling mistake randomly to some posts, between "preview" and "reply."

I make it a point never to comment on such errors... unless there's a harmless joke in there..somewhere.

Hi, good evening, I can confirm and ensure there is no commercial sponsoring firm, the reason of this questionnaire is that it is a module called "Consultancy skills & practice", in which we are doing a live consultancy project with a real company, but the company is not a sponsor. This module and project is totally for academic and practice reason. You could see the specific module description from the University of Birmingham's official website, finding the programme "MSc Strategic marketing & consulting". Thank you very much!

I have no problem with that, as University Students need a working relationship with companies as that is where they will, mostly, be working. I don't have a problem either with Companies using, and paying for, the resources and work of University Student for marketing purposes. The Gardening Corners Admin Team's goal to prevent any indirect or direct spamming and, so far, we have had no complaints regarding that. I did inform the originators of the Questionnaire that members would not take their survey without questioning the real purpose of it.:dunno::coffee::snorky:
