Please someone tell me why.....

    this has happend? it can get quite windy at the front of my house, but this has only just happend in the past day or so and it's been there for a good while now.

    Just guessing but -

    A. - Got too dry.

    or

    B. - Wind damaged the stems.

    Have a look at the roots. Vine weevil grubs can bring about sudden collapse of plants in containers.

    Pansies can do that - I have had it happen, and never worked out the cause. The other plants are looking good, so whilst vine weevil is possible - I'd lift the pansy out and see whats happening underneath

    Nice one, will do. I've had the same thing happen with my pansies in the back aswell. It can't be dryness as i am really good on the watering front.

    Maybe it is the wind, but yet the back part of the house doesn't get windy....damn those Vine Weevils...... [​IMG]
