Sis's plum tree has got it. The plums are shriveled and have no stones forming inside them

She's cut the infected branches off, which i'll burn asap.

    Anyone else got it?

Sis has read that you should only spray with Bordeaux mix in spring and autumn, i'm tempted to spray the thing now when she's not looking and blame the blue colour on the Red Arrow's display :heehee:

Found a pic taken a couple of years ago. The sloes go swollen, light coloured and sometimes with dark mottled patches.

@Zigs What I forgot to say above was that if there's infected sloes in a hedge bordering a garden with an infected plum tree, that reservoir of infection might make it difficult to eradicate in the adjacent plum tree.

            Ta Scrunge :)

It's up near the house so well away from any other plums, mind you, the cat is up and down it so that could be carrying spores:sad:

Is this because of all the wet weather we've been/are having?
