Not sure how to spell it, but I got one and want to get more, but when I try to get info on it all I get is things about foot fetishes - ouu err!

It comes up through the soil next month like a pink cherry blossom and flowers on the soil (amazing) then gets a big leaf and then orange fruit.

can I take seed from fruit? will it grow, I would like to get more.

I dont know anything about them I'm afraid just come across the name somewhere.
Someone on here is bound to grow them, I hope.
I have a book that says podophyllum emodi can have white or pink flowers and brown mottled leaves.
    Does that help?

Leaves are big and green, I will post pictures when it flowers - very unusuall. It would be nice to get seeds from fruit which are quite large - I may have to send some to a better grower than myself (I am actually quite hopeless with seeds!)

RHS encyclopaedia says it's called May Apple - and as well as the brown mottled leaves, it has white flowers, like umbrellas, followed by rose- pink fruit. Sounds nice!! BUT - all parts highly poisonous!!

Many of the former inclusions in Podophyllum are now called Dysosma.

did not know it was poisonus, not surprising as the big orange fruit looks to delicious.
