Mine is dying off, the leaves are becoming crinkly and this morning it fell over - no roots. It could be vine weevils but I think I've given it too much water and it has rotted. I would be grateful for any information about taking cuttings ... Internet is hopeless, poor information and confusing, and I've given up looking now.
I've had one for 5 years. It was about 8" when I bought it in 2019 and is now over 4ft. The only problem I've had is dropping leaves over the last year. It sits on my heated floor (in winter) in the lounge, so needs frequent watering even over winter. It responds well to a seaweed extract feed every 2-3 weeks in spring and summer (as do all my houseplants). I was thinking of taking some cuttings of mine too. It seems it just the usual method for cuttings. You can take several cuttings from one stem. Each cutting should be about 6-7" long. Use rooting powder if you have any and a free-draining compost that's not too wet. If you put 3 cuttings into a 1L pot then put the pot in a bag, seal it and leave it somewhere warm (bottom heat is best if you have a heat mat or similar) and in a bright position with no draughts. Cuttings can be fickle, so try and get as many as you can.
