Poly greenhouse grow menu

    So i finally got my hands on some plastic . 6.5x10m , 3 layer poly that lets 70% light through.

    our winter tepms arnt to harsh . it can get to extreames but on avrage the cold temps are around 16-18C .
    im going to grow in coco/perlite mix soil grow not hydro .

    Tematoes .
    gonna defnetly have some cherokee purple and F1 hybrids .
    whats your favourate ?
    still thinking about small ones .

    cucumber something like the medetiranian not english . Your advice would be gratly recived . gonna do a herb corner for shure . and some celaries . share your thoughts and faveroutes the greens u cant go without .

    [​IMG] Fatpanda.. Yes gardeners Delight is a good one, I also like to grow Beefsteak "Big Daddy" as well as cherry toms.. I usually grow cherry toms & strawberries in hanging baskets to free up valuable ground space.. ;)
    Are you growing Capsicums, chillies, Aubergine (Egg plant) Courgettes (Zucchini) as well?

    JWK tnx mate , did as soon as i got to a pc , cant seem to do it through taptalk. tnx for the tomato GD , i want to grow out a couple of strains and keep 3-4 mothers .

    @ Mellow ive heard Many good things about the beefsteak tomato . ill put that and the gardeners delight on there , what cherry tomato would u suggest ?

    Sadly my family are not to big on spicy ...but i love it lol .. have a couple of chillies in mind .
    Had some trouble germinating the chillies tho . 4/8

    i might have to get the eggplant for the misses and those dreadfull veggies i struggle with eating HAHA . buut im working on it . what is the grow time on tomatoes on avg from seed to harvest ...

    Ah, I'd forgotten that that was "hidden" on taptalk ... sorry for hassling you :oopss:

    Probably most popular here is Gardener's Delight. I like Sungold too.

    20 weeks. Start later, with better light/heat, and I guess it might be less than that.

    well i stated with some sees i still have
    .theire pretty old so i build a quick humidity dome
    but got some carrots.basil tomatoes ,cucumber ,and some herbs.
