I already have a few really excellent Polyanthus in my garden - no idea how they got there but there's a nice mix of colours. Unfortunately there's only about a dozen of them and naturally I want more for next year.

With that in mind, when is the best time to buy (and plant) Polyanthus plug plants for flowering next Spring (or sooner)?

Also, any recommendations of a good online seller to buy them from please?

    Hi MadHedger,

You can either grow them from seed yourself, the best time to sow them being about the end of May into June or if you want to buy the plugs they're usually available from around September. I tend to use J. Parkers a lot as their quality is excellent.
