I've dug my mum and small pond, roughly 1 metre sq, and wondered what plants I could put in it or around it without swamping it.

    Thanks :)

The problem with most aquatic plants is that by their nature they are pretty invasive and spread wherever they are allowed to.
I'd deffo get some type of submerge
d oxygenator in there (Hornwort, Elode) to help the wildlife.

    And in my pond:
    Marsh marigold/Kingcup
    Blue Iris Laevigata
    Houttuynia Cordata 'Chameleon'
    Corkscrew Rush
    Saururus Cernus (Lizard's Tail)

have all stayed small and well behaved (so far), all in their own baskets and split evry year or so.

I just wondered, are any of these submersed or do they all float? I've selected a few but they are all 'floaters' so would like one that sits in a pot at the bottom.
