pond sealing

    I have recently sealed my concrete pond with G4 and had terible trouble cleaning the brush although I used the solvent advised on the tin has anyone had this problem

    Haven't used G4, but I've used a lot of other sealing products from damp sealers in cellars to twin-pack wood finishes - and they all seem to come off the brush with no problem - until they start to dry! After that, there's no shifting 'em! :(

    Must admit now I've taken to buying totally cheapo brushes and throwing them away afterwards. Some solvents are more expensive than the brush!! [​IMG]

    Thank you Hyla arborea. That is what I had to do, find another brush but quick as the sealer has to be applied within 4 hours, unfortunately I hadn't a throw away brush, but that was what I had to do, I just felt people should be aware of this problem.
