Poor pear tree

    I mistakenly sprayed the pear tree with weedkiller a couple of years ago (yes I know always label sprayers) is this why the edges of the pear tree leaves are going black. The Apple tree I sprayed at the same time has recovered now and is doing really well again

    I don't think it's from the weed killer Dave,I think it would have done for the tree by now.I'm guessing at frost damage or maybe spider mites:dunno:.Someone will be along to give you a more informed answer:thumbsup:

    Frost can scorch the young foliage. Could also be wind damage.

    That sounds encouraging we have had a lot of wind here so hopefully it is that, the weedkiller was sprayed on a couple of years ago and it looks like it has,recovered, phew
