    Hi All

I am not sure about the rest of the country but my potatoes in the south east are very poor only a few tubers and smaller than usual. How did your potatoes do??

Not so good, only got third prize this year  DSCI1019.JPG

Yield was down a bit as they got blighted as they were flowering, but did get a few monster ones.

Best year ever I would say, we are still eating our earlies, they are coming up the size of bakers.

Still got plenty of earlies grown in bags, got approx 30 Kg of bakers from growing big spuds and haven't even started started digging up what's in the ground.

Didn't stop me from getting these on Sunday, 7Kg of Perline for 70p

          Hi All
Glad some of you have done okay, I dug up a few more rows yesterday and much the same down about 60% on the usual harvest. Looks like I need to add some manure to the soil. Is now a good time if the manure is fresh??

          Thanks

          Dave
