Hi,

I'm new and have a question if nobody minds too much :what: We have only just started paying attention to our garden and making it look nice.

We have 3 Japanese Maple's and the leaves have really wilted on all them.

They are all in big pots with drainage, 2 of them are in special soil that a family member recommended buying; eracious soil for rhodedrums or something?

I have just put the third one back in normal Miracle grow soil to see if it gets better.

They are in the shade. Somebody has suggested windburn but I’m not sure. I have moved one by more pond which is part shaded.

I can put some photos up tonight if that would in getting them better. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated!

    Many Thanks

    Welcome to the forum!

A piccy would help a bit but I suspect wind burn is probably right. Mine look a bit battered here too! I found that they suffer less from all types of stress if they're planted in the ground but you were right in using ericaceous compost for the pots. Water with rain water if possible and give them a feed, they might just be a bit depleted.
