Last year poor Mrs Popple died after being attacked by a gall mite, hopefully someone is familiar with what this looks like when I say it looked like the leaves and buds at the tips of the branches looked like they were melting into each other until there was this odd-shaped lumpy mess at the end. I was very upset, but cutting her right back twice and several applications of some potion the garden centre she came from provided me with, didn't cure her. :(

Anyhow. Is it possible that my (indoor) begonia could be suffering from a similar problem, as I've noticed over the past week that the leaves on the ends of two branches are starting to look like they're melting down like poor Mrs Popple? If not, what can I do to cheer her up, as I don't want to lose another plant?

Sorry, I've never seen that on a begonia before.

You could try cutting back the worst affected parts and spaying the rest with a systemic insecticide.
