    Hi All,

Now the house renovation is (nearly!) complete, I can now concentrate on the garden. It was a very well established garden when I bought the house in late 2022.

There is one camellia shrub and it has given me some flowers (believe it might be a Rose of winter?) but the shrubs itself looks very poorly, the leaves look mostly pale green/yellow and large areas internally look dead with algae on them.

I have never had a camellia before, but I think they are slow growing, so it might not IMG_5265.JPG IMG_5266.JPG IMG_5264.JPG like being cut back hard after flowering, but I can't think of anything else to do, so would really appreciate some guidance :please:

    Many thanks in advance.

If it was mine I'd cut it back and give it an ericaceous feed, it probably would need more feeding right through the summer.

It might look drastic but it's always going to be leggy if left.
