    Good morning all :)

I am posting this on behalf of one of our newer members @SDY, who I am sure will receive the usual warm welcome from you all.

    From SDY:
After being away from my home for less than a week. I arrived home to find that my
Japonica shrub of 12 years is dead or dying. The shrub looks like its had something poured over It. The leaves are black/brown and shrivelled. The plant is leaning forward. No insects seen on plant. Any comments please. Not sure how to upload photos

My guess would be weedkiller or boiling water if it looked fine just a week ago.
