Popped into garden centre

    This afternoon and bought Skimmia magic merlot beautiful varigation.

    Also an auto seeder and pkt of Verbena Sparkles seeds and james Scarlet carot seed.

    I feel the Urge to garden shop Scotkat, Next Saturday ill go to my favourite nursery I think...Seeing what you have bought gets me excited about the garden again, Spring is just round the corner :)

    I want to get a Cornus I saw reduced last week. And love Skimmias-they are good for shade I believe, but how well would they do in a pot?

    Skimmias do well in containers, Aaron. Go for the self-fertile Reevesiana.:gnthb:

    Did the same think and bought a "luna" I thought it was myrtle but what do I know-either way couldn`t resist it

    Nothing wrong with Myrtle, Claire. A very useful evergreen.:thumb:
