I've got loads of various kinds of poppy which I have grown from seed growing away in peat pots in my unheated greenhouse. They are getting quite big now and I'm not sure whether I can plant them out now or would frost harm them? I'm guessing that as you are supposed to sow the seeds where you want them to grow outside anyway they will be fine, but just wanted to double check as I dont want to kill them all now!

I`m not sure?I havn`t got round to sowing my poppy`s yet.I`m gonna throw them among the veg.Apparantly they attract hoverfly who lay their eggs. The eggs hatch and those babies eat the cabbabe fly?Something like that anyway. [IMG]

Mine are in the borders now. I planted them out yesterday among the ground cover of Violets,For-get-me-nots and Love in a mist which will protect them should we have any frost.
