Hello All, Inspired by all your kind comments about her when she decided to move in with us I thought it would be nice if I showed some snaps of her debut. It`s hard to get any decent pictures of her as she is a bit qucik for my old bones, and besides she attacks the camera because it makes a strange noise when it focuses. They aren`t the greatest photos and don`t do the subject any justice. I decided it would be wise to allow her out in the garden with Toni, as she tends to stay in the garden. They aren`t the best of friends but they don`t actively despise each other. And you can`t see it, but she has jsut spotted a frog and has decided to be it`s friend, fortunately the poor thing got away before Toni spotted it-she wouldn`t have been that friendly. she climbed up the Ash tree and refused to come down until she had explored every inch, then like a good little girl when I called Toni back in she just jumped down and followed her. I do love her, she is a bit naughty still but very very affectionate and despite Toni`s apparent indifference to her, Poppy adores her and follows her everywhere.
Absolutely you can be Auntie Nut, and Katherna-if only Poppy would stop jumping on her back Toni would like her more, but the little pest will keep trying to goad her into playing chase. I`m hoping when another cat comes in the garden Toni recognises she will be an ally against the intruder and see the benefits of having a baby sister, the only trouble with that is Poppy is moe likely to make friends with them-which in turn will disgust Toni. `LOL
Yes, completely white all over Nut, as was her Mum. She has one blue eye and one green eye too. Beautiful but the poor mite gets sunburnt ears so she has to have sun block put on her every day in Summer. She hated it at first, but she resigned herself to it in the end poor thing, LOL.
Awww bless they're lovely Claire. I only get to see y cat when I go visit my dad he's a lovely tabby that doesn't love me as much now I've got dogs
They are both beautiful, Lollipop,, and it won't be long before they are best friends. I had two pure white babies, who died here he aged 13 and she 15, but were English. They had many health problems throughout their lives. He was violently allerigic to fleas and died of kidney failure. She had a neck tumour (which the British vets would do nothing about but here they did for about â?¬100 and gave her severaal added years) but she died from heart and lung problems. The problem they didn't have was suffering from the sun. I, like you, put cream on their ears when we first brought them here, which they hated so I stopped doing it. They lived here for years without ear damage .... but, like all sensible cats they did not lie in the sun in the middle of the day ............. that's mad dogs and Englishmen ............. :D
