In a few weeks time, I expect my poppies will be ready to collect seed from.

When that happens, judging by the number of seed heads that are there, there will be more than enough to go round.

These are very pretty poppies which I think are a type of opium poppy. Sorry no pics at the moment because its dark out, and I only just took notice of how many there are.

They are tall (about 2ft+), big frilly heads (doubles? Is that the right word?), in a lovely deep pink, cerise colour.

They seem to have a long flowering period for poppies, mine have been blooming away since about may and some are still getting ready to bloom.

When the seeds are ready, I'll be happy to collect seed for anyone that wants some. All I ask is that you send me a stamped, addressed envelope and I'll put some seed in and send it back to you.

Private message me or reply to this post if you want some when they're ready.

I'd love some Clueless, but I have a problem with the sae. The English post office doesn't recognize Manx postage stamps.

Last chance. Seeds now harvested. There's been a few takers but to be honest interest has been a lot lower than I anticipated. I've chucked a load, but I have saved more than enough for those that have asked for some, and plenty more for a few more if anyone else is interested.

Clueless can I take the liberty of putting pictures of the poppies on for you. The one's I grew from your seed this year are long gone, the rain rotted the stems through, but I did manage to collect seed heads first, so will start again with new plants next spring. :)

    By all means.

Also, there's plenty of seeds to go round, so if you want some more, just say the word.
