    Ayup,
We have various poppies in our garden which have grown to about 5ft tall, they're huge! Anyway some of the petals are dropping off now - is there any point dead-heading them? Will they flower anymore? I don't reckon they will, but I've been told by the missus to find out!
    Thanks,
    Orb.x

If they are the perennial Papaver x hybridus then no they do not repeat flower. We cut ours down to the ground once they have finished flowering and let other things overgrow them to fill the gap. Sometimes they do produce smaller flowers very late on in the season.
