porridge and slugs/snails

    I read somewhere that by putting porridge around the plant the slugs/snails will eat so much of it that they will bloat and die. They should also find it difficult to climb over it-have you ever tried?

    I think it's supposed to be bran. I've tried porridge oats and they ignored it.

    :wink: You are right Miraflores.. :hehe: It is not that they eat it..!!!! I have tried then fairly successfully, but it was remembering to replenish asfter rai & in long periods of rain found them not so good, but in damp weather brilliant..!!!!!!!!!!! :gnthb:
