    Hi,
We have a hedge of Portuguese Laurel that is planted approx 3m from our house, it was planted 3 years ago. Would this be likely to cause any problems with subsidence or cause other issues to the house in the future?
    Thanks

Keep it under control. Presuming its your hedge, clip to consolidate and prevent undue size. If neighbours, then clip what you can, or prevail. Unless you have reason to doubt the structure ;ie poor construction already showing cracks etc, then unlikely to damage. Hopefully drains are elsewhere, for they may be at risk of root penetration (from any species)
