postable size (hardy)exotics

    Hi,
    im trying to bypass the hit and miss growing hardy exotics from seed.
    has anyone got postable (or pick up in Derbyshire)things like banana musa basjoo/ ensete ventricosum?? rare yucca types...or any other hardy exotics

    I usually have pieces of basjoo in the summer, but usually much to big to post. Likewise yuccas.
    You could go for things like castor oil plants or some of the larger leaved cannas they're not hit and miss. [​IMG]

    Thanks pete....as we speak i have 7 castor oil seedlings growing nicely...
