    Hi all,

I'm hoping you can give me some ideas on a suitable pot plant for my porch.

It is North facing and unheated.

I have an umbrella plant in there which is thriving, but a rubber plant I put in there was starting to look a little sorry for itself.
This has now perked up now it's fully indoors again.
(forgive me I don't know the Latin names!)

Has anyone any suggestions of a plant I could use in there?

    Thanks

    Feline

Maybe old fashioned (Victorians used to love them!) but ferns will do well in subdued light with no heating. The real good news is there's over 10,000 to chose from!

Have a look in the Fern thread as well. ;)

    Thanks for the ideas.

    I'll look into the ferns.
