I have laid my charlotte seed potatoes 'eyes' up in a seed tray, and put them in my mini green house.

My question is this - when I opened the door today it was really hot inside, and the potatoes felt warm. Should they be somewhere cool? The sun has thrown me!

Too hot Victoria. You really should have them somewhere light but cool.
I had mine in the shed but decided it wasn't light enough so they are now under the greenhouse staging which is brighter but not too hot.
I'm actually not all that convinced that chitting makes a vast difference. There's quite an interesting article about chitting here >
