potato mound

good morning, I plan to move a raised bed and with the soil make a circle of soil 10 to 12 ft dia, plant the seeds in centre and cover from inside edge when sprouting leaving space to plant more, and keep repeating till all soil gone to leave mound, thoughts please

 

sound good but only a thought , how will you weed or pick the crops it may be out of reach ?

thankyou for repkies, leave to the end of season then harvest,hopefully not much slug/pest damage,i have plans for that space, many thanks
