potatoes and frost

I have some potatoes in a barrel I stupidly left them out the other night and the frost got the top leaves, some leaves have turned black and others have wilted, will they continue to grow it is the first time I have grown potatoes, I have put them back in green house to protect from frosts and covered leaves wih soil

The same holds true for your tatties. They should be OK.

 

Yep I can confirm what Sarraceniac has posted.
Mine were left out in the same way and they have all grown back. I have some I have kept in the greenhouse and they look like they will be all green and no potatoes!!
